	Making Magnificat: Tasting & Blending with Winemaker Janet Myers of Franciscan/Mt. Veeder March 9th ~ This Thursday! Janet Myers, winemaker for Franciscan Estates & Mt. Veeder wineries, will take attendees through a blending exercise similar to creating Magnificat at the winery, her proprietary Meritage blend. Fourteen wines tasted in all. Limited seating. More Info
	World of Reds, March 16th Our classic tasting format of 10 reds from 10 corners of the world. More Info
	1985 - 2003 Bordeaux Vintages Tasted with Winemakers from Ch. d'Issan & Ch. Lagrange March 30th Taste fourteen wines spanning 21 years, guided by two winemakers from two Grand Cru Classified Estates. Wines accompanied by French cheeses. More Info
	Pinot Envy! April 27th This tasting will center on two related grapes, Pinot Noir & Pinot Gris. Six of the twelve wines tasted will be King Estate wines, which consistently score 90+ with wine reviewers. More Info
	Viva Italia May 23rd The "land of wine" discussion will feature 10+ wines, maps and entertaining conjecture on the world's largest producer. More Info

• Create Your Own Winery Map from 2,400 US Wineries
  Haven't played with this enough to figure exactly what it will do for us, but I did start with "Georgia" when asked to input a Region or State, and BOOM, there was most (but not all) of our wineries. And don't go by their shown address as some of those were wrong too! More
• International Pinot Noir Celebration
  Slated for July 28th - 30th, the 20th Annual celebration of the "fussy-grape" will sell out, just like every year. More info here

  May 17th - 21st marks the 10th Annual festival, with an event-rich week of Bordeaux-inspired tastings, seminars, and activities preceding the Grand Tasting on May 20th & 21st, featuring 150 wineries. More
• Vintner Rodney Strong Passes On
  Rodney Strong, the debonair Broadway dancer who became one of Sonoma County's best known winemakers - and most eloquent spokesmen - during a boom-and-bust career spanning four decades, died Sunday at a Healdsburg convalescent hospital. He was 78.
