These luxury guest homes, while professionally architected, designed and landscaped, have the personal touch of Mary Ann Hardman (Co-Proprietor) all over them. Mary Ann and her husband, Sonny, make a heck of a team. Sonny, while still a practicing pathologist in Athens, is the winemaker and vineyard manager. His skills in the vineyard and the winery is why Bacchanalia, Restaurant Eugene, The Cloister at Sea Island, The Ritz Carlton Hotels in Georgia, and Bluepointe (among others) carry their wines.

Mary Ann is the one who takes her husband's vinous talents and weaves the entire Persimmon story together, acting as conductor for the growing operation, which doesn't just include distribution and marketing, but also two tasting rooms, and now the hospitality cottages. And somewhere along the way they raise three boys under the ages of 16.

Each cottage is outfitted with a professional grade Viking kitchen appliances, living room, breakfast room, wood-burning stone fireplace, outdoor living space and comfortable, designer furnishings. Bathrooms are a focal point offering unparalleled luxury featuring Waterworks fixtures. Each cottage is carefully positioned for maximum privacy and views of the vineyard property.

UPON ARRIVAL
Cottages not only feature the PCV wines along with Riedel stemware, but also a nice platter of artisanal cheese. It was a very nice way to be greeted with a late afternoon arrival.
